Eine modulare, mobile Werkstatt. Klein genug für einen Fahrradanhänger, alternativ als Handkarre, soll diese Plattform für verschiedene Einsatz-Zwecke im Viertel herhalten. Von der Fahrradwerkstatt über eine Espresso-Bar bis zum Medienproduktions-Studio gibt es diverse Konfigurationen für das Basis-Modul. Ausgehend vom Design von reparations.konsortiet und inspiriert vom low-tech magazine entwickeln wir eine noch flexiblere, hybride Konstruktion und stellen sie im FS17 für lokale Initiativen zur Verfügung.

mowe, a lab platform on two wheels

A modular, mobile workshop explorer. Small enough for a bicycle trailer or push cart, this platform is meant to support different use cases for the living lab and its neighbors. There are several configurations extending the base module, from a bike repair shop to an espresso bar to a media production studio. We are extending a design by reparations.konsortiet, inspired by low-tech magazine to create an even more flexible hybrid construction that will serve the public and local initiatives around FS17.

Das Material und der Anhänger stehen bereit. Dank gebrauchter Bestandteile und schlankerer Konstruktion können die Kosten für das Basismodul bis auf etwa 300€ reduziert werden. Jetzt wird geplant und gebastelt.

Building materials have been sourced, use of second-hand items and leaner design could reduce the cost of the base module down to about 300€. Now the design extension and construction is underway.
